ABOUT THE STUDIO
Alain Tomatis has been a professional photographer since 1967. He and his wife Vicki Tomatis moved the studio that was located in Paradise California, a beautiful community in Northern California foothills. They now work from their home as of September 2013. They will capture and provide the highest quality images in a unique style designed especially just for you. Satisfaction guaranteed.

Originally from Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat in Southern France, Alain Tomatis came to the United States in 1970 where he worked as a freelance photographer in Los Angeles. The University of Vaugirard in Paris is where he began his first photographic studies in 1968. From there he went to work in Nice France as a Freelance Photographer doing race car sports photography for Formula One. Than a magazine sent him to Los Angeles to continue working for them. This led to work freelancing for record labels like Polydor and Paramount photographing musicians like Leon Russell, Billy Joel, The Beach Boys, Alice Cooper, and many others of that era in the 70’s.

Alain moved to Paradise with his family and opened his own studio on the Skyway in 1976. It was very successful for many years. In September of 2013 he and his wife Vicki Tomatis decided to move the business to their home. NO retirement as they love what they do. They can come to just about any location of your choice. Olivia Tomatis Kelly worked with her father and helped run the studio since 1992 up until June of 2011. She handled accounts, sales, restoration, retouching, and was a top notch partner in all aspects of running a studio. She left to work  at the Cancer Center in Paradise and  eventually transferred to Enloe Hospital in Chico.

Vicki Tomatis, , She joined the studio in 2004 and is a top notch Web designer, Graphic Artist, Photographer, and Social Media Marketer. She  is responsible for enhancement of photographs, retouching, color management, web design and marketing.
